Supervises all production projects.  Completed nearly 40 production projects including Railroad Coordinator on Feature Films; TV MoWs and series; commercials; music videos. Pre production budget design and technical assistance for multi-million dollar projects, 20+ location scouting assignments.

        Studio (Warner Bros.) Safety Manager on Under Siege II - In Dark TerritoryPerfect accident/injury free safety record after 23 years, supervising 80,000+ man/hours of production crew work on railroad trains and locations.

        Professional background includes US Congressional staff; U.S. Railway Association; TV news; law enforcement; university research associate; regional and shortline railroad marketing and operations management; railroad capital rehabilitation programs; and strategic industrial logistics systems design. Expert witness in logistics/ transportation economics, rail safety, and carrier management.

       USFRA certified locomotive engineer, track inspector. Certified HAZMAT incident specialist.

ROAD FOREMAN OF ENGINES/TRAINMASTER


             35-year CSXT career (1969 - 2004) featured progressive promotions from Engineer (L&N); to Road Foreman of Engines; to Director, Train Operations - Appalachian Service Lane. Assigned to troubleshoot and manage line-of-road operations at railroad's "hotspots:" Corbin; Erwin; Chicago; New Orleans; Philadelphia; Birmingham; Jacksonville; Willard.

             USFRA certified Locomotive Engineer. CSXT Performance and Quality Assurance facilitator. Qualified as Instructor Engineer; Remote Control Locomotive trainer; Supervisor of Locomotive Engineers; and CSXT/GCOR operating rules instructor and examiner. Qualified Train Dispatcher.

            For RTMS: Supervises production operations; locomotive/car assembly and dispersals; and line-of-road and intra terminal Movie Train transfer movements.

PRODUCTION OPERATIONS & CREATIVE SERVICES SPECIALIST


        Award-winning film/TV Production Designer, Art Director, and Illustrator. 30+ feature film, TV, and 2nd Unit Director credits. Railroad experience includes Under Siege II - In Dart Territory; Money Train; "B.L. Stryker" and "Hitchcock Presents" TV series.    

     Fortune 500 corporate event production/environmental designer (IBM; Kawasaki; Volvo; Nissan; Wal-Mart). U.S. Department of Defense training systems designer.   

          Member: Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences; Directors Guild of America; IATSE Local 790 - Illustrators & Artists; and Local 800 - Production Designers & Art Directors. 1979: BS, Environmental Design [with Honors]: North Carolina State University
